The Integrated Waterjet IWJ method provides the simplest and most cost effective method for installing waterjets into fiberglass vessels.

Moulded Intake – A re-usable form is used in the hull mould to laminate over and shape the intake duct surface. The waterjet can be installed directly into the hull as moulded.

Direct Thrust – To simplify the mechanical complexity and to further reduce the installed cost, the waterjet shaft is arranged to thrust directly to the gearbox as per conventional propeller arrangement.

Conventional Shaft Seal – The use of a “traditional” shaft line allows conventional off the shelf shaft seal and coupling products to be used.

Simple Installation – The waterjet assembly attaches directly to the hull without any large cutouts or internal flange bolting. The shafting alignment fixture makes it very simple and fast to position engine and gearbox.
