Doen WaterJets was established in Melbourne, Australia, in 1971. Born global, the company has been in the forefront of designing and manufacturing waterjet propulsion systems ever since.
All DOEN’s waterjet models are designed and built to exceed the most stringent requirement of marine classification societies and/or relevant military specifications. DOEN’s waterjets and associated controls have been certified an ad-hoc basis according to ABS, BV, CCS, DNV-GL, CCS, Lloyds and RINA.
Some of the advantages of DOEN waterjets are as follows
- Unique waterjet pump design technology that combines the key benefits of excellent high-speed efficiency together with superior cavitation margins at lower speeds and high load conditions.
- The most efficient installation methods that provide maximum flexibility to accommodate different hull material and/or supply custom designs to optimize hull interaction and machinery interfacing.
- No special tools and minimum amount of experience required to install and maintain Doen’s waterjets, which together with the modular construction as well as the best of class material and workmanship guaranty the lowest through life cost of ownership.
- Direct Thrust (DT) and Integrated Waterjet (IWJ) product variants, offering significant cost-savings for suitable crafts.
